ElanceAgilewaves offers the most innovative energy monitoring solution for residential and commercial buildings.
However, the company only had awareness for its home product. Agilewaves also needed to elevate its company messaging and story by entering the national dialog around new energy policy initiatives. The objectives for the company were to increase awareness for its commercial offering and emerge as a thought leader on issues of energy efficiency.

Solution
Borders + Gratehouse kick-started the company's PR program with a national policy program that connected Agilewaves executives with key media covering emerging energy policy initiatives. In conjunction with an in-person trip to Washington D.C, the PR program quickly gained traction with storylines tied to emerging topics such as the SmartGrid and energy funds in the economic stimulus package. In addition, a strong focus on the commercial capabilities of the offering resulted in validation for the product.
